Astghik Safaryan was born in 1896 on September third. Both her father and mother are poets. She graduated from the “Maksedan” seminary. She took part in many musical groups and was accepted into the Yerevan State University’s faculty of economics and trade. She was later transferred to the Yerevan State economics institute. In her fourth year, she was known as an Armenian Superstar.

She sang the songs “O’ Wind, Wind” and lately took part in “32 Teeth” with Garik.
